If you read Gurbani or listen to it and then understand the meanings, you can start building vocabulary for each Gurmukhi word. Gurbani is written in poetic form, so you do not have to learn grammer as much, learning meaning of words goes a long way. This will help you understand Gurbani directly over time. Please also read:
