Slok literally means to Chant. In Sikhism, Sloks are a poetic rhymes of hymns. Sloks are written by various writers in Sikhism including Sloks by Bhai Kabeer Ji, Sloks by Bhai Fareed Ji, and Slok Mahalla 9 (Sloks by Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji).
